Environment: Next.js 14 (App Router), deployed on Vercel serverless functions, Node 18, external LLM provider via REST API. Description: When five or more users send requests to /api/generate within a short time window (around two seconds), some requests fail with a 500 Internal Server Error. Individual requests work correctly, and low traffic conditions show no issues. Under small bursts of traffic, the failure rate increases to approximately 30 percent. Observed Behavior: Response time increases from about 1.2 seconds to between 4 and 6 seconds. Some responses return an error message stating “Unexpected token u in JSON at position 0.” Server logs occasionally show “TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'choices').” Expected Behavior: All concurrent requests should be processed independently without shared state conflicts. The API should return either a valid generation response or a properly structured error object, never an unhandled 500. Steps to Reproduce: Open six browser tabs and trigger the generation request in all of them within a two-second window. Random failures will occur. Suspected Causes: Possible shared mutable state outside the request scope. Improper JSON parsing when the upstream provider returns an empty or malformed response. Upstream rate limiting not handled correctly (429). Timeout causing partial response parsing. Acceptance Criteria: Zero failures under at least twenty concurrent requests. Proper handling of upstream rate limits and timeouts. Structured logging for upstream status codes and response bodies. Graceful fallback to a secondary model if the primary provider fails.
Is it really working? let's see that in action after we enter 100 characters, this is taking so long to get to 100 characters OMG this is really long!

This is the first ticket with a much longer description that should demonstrate the line clamping behavior when the content gets too long to fit in the available space.
This is the second ticket with an even longer description to test how well our line clamping works in various scenarios and screen sizes.
